简介
准确：主要依据“CambridgeYoungLearnersEnglishTests（2007）”修订的新大纲、参考基础教育“课程标准”编写设计。基础：以幼儿一日生活为主线、以幼儿园主题活动为基础，“用英语做活动”、寓教于乐，以感受英语、体验学习英语的乐趣、培养幼儿良好的学习习惯为教学目标。规范：语音（英音）语调纯正，语言地道、真实、自然，文字规范。实用：幼儿学到的语言知识不再局限于课堂，而是应用于生活之中。连续： “剑桥幼儿英语”、“剑桥幼儿英语学习卡”、“剑桥幼儿英语（学前版）”、“剑桥幼儿英语（进阶版）“剑桥幼儿园英语”和“剑桥幼儿图画英语”，为幼儿提供系统连贯的学习计划。
