简介
雅思考试的最大特点是对考生实际的英语交际能力进行测试，重点放在以英语为工具解决专业学习中的听、读、写、说等实际问题方面，从而较好地避免了考生“高分低能”的现象。很多英语考试的听力、阅读，甚至写作试题均采用多项选择形式，这无疑增加了考生猜测的机会。并且由于词汇题、语法题占一定的比例，考生可以通过在短时间内死记硬背大量的单词和题海战术地做语法题的方法在考试中获得较高的“知识分”。鉴于“知识”和猜测因素的作用，考生的成绩并不能客观地反映其使用英语的实际能力。雅思考试在这方面有很大不同。
