简介
《京藏剧：文成公主》是根据藏剧、京剧相结合的剧作《文成公主》编译而成的一部英文著作，是“中国戏曲海外外传播工程丛书”中非常重要的一部剧作。《文成公主》首先介绍了“文成公主进藏”这一广为流传的故事的原型，着重评析了这部剧“和亲式”创作手法和舞台表演形式，最后特别介绍了藏剧这种戏曲艺术。末尾另附藏剧、京剧《文成公主》的脚本。可谓是一部及文化普及、戏曲研究及传统文化宣传于一体的著作，将有助于中外读者了解中国传统文化、地方文化，尤其是戏曲文化。
