　　《综合英语一（上、下册）自学辅导》根据全国高等教育自学考试指导委员会组织编写《综合英语一》以及《综合英语一考试大纲》而编写。《综合英语（1）上》旨在帮助自学者更好地掌握《综合英语一》的内容以及《考试大纲》所规定的考核点，逐步打好语言基本功从而达到《考试大纲》的要求。《综合英语（1）上》每课由3大部分组成：一、课文的要点。1）Outline课文内容提要。2）Detailed Study of the Text课文学习要点。此项包含以下内容：（1）教材中“课文注释”没有涉及的难句的汉语译文、语法难点说明。（2）课文中部分难句的英主释义（paraphrasing）。（3）《考试大纲》中所规定的词汇考核点以及其他重要词汇和短语的含义以及示范例句。二、练习答案。包括教材中Questions on Text, Oral Work, Written Work, Vocabulary Exercises 以及Grammar Exercises的参考答案。三、综合测试题。每册提供5套测试题，其中前4前按照每4课的学习要求以及考核点，采用《考试大纲》所规定的题型而设计，力图帮助自学者复习巩固相关4课的内容，又使他们逐渐熟悉《考试大纲》所规定的题型。每册最后一套题覆盖16课的内容及重点。每套题都附有参考答案。《综合英语一》下册的最后一套测试题覆盖《综合英语一》32课的考核内容。
