本书主要包括两大部分:第一部分为理论。这一部分共分三章。第一章对话语分析的含义、发展现状以及话语分析的研究方法等进行了综合性回顾和阐释,使读者对话语分析这一领域有清晰全面地了解;第二章论述了话语分析的方法,主要有结构分析法、认知分析法、社会文化分析法、批评分析法、综合分析法等;第三章是有关话语分析理论与课堂教学,主要阐释了话语分析理论对外语教学的启示。第二部分为实例分析。这一部分包括两章,主要从话语结构与话语类型两个方面,对新闻话语、外交话语、广告话语,网络话语和幽默话语等进行分析并提供大量的实例分析。这一部分为本书重点,集中体现话语分析的现实意义和应用价值。
